Formed in 2006, while they were students at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Romania, the quartet has performed across the world. Winners of the 2012 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition and the 2014 Osaka International Chamber Music Competition, the Arcadia Quartet is rapidly establishing itself as one of the most exciting string quartets of their generation.

Amit Peled, who joins the quartet for the Schubert Quintet, is an Israeli- American cellist and virtuoso. He plays Pablo Casals's 1733 Matteo Goffriller cello.
